Yesterday, I harvested a lot of oregano, basil, cilantro, lettuce, and peas. The cilantro seems to be turning from the solid leaves to more fingery looking – maybe I’m letting it get too tall before cutting the top third off? The lettuce was just from around the outsides of all four plants. The pea plants have turned yellowish and the peas are getting bitter. I’m not sure if it needs more water or more nutrients so I miracle grew it (along with everything else) and changed watering from every 3 days to every other day. It has been in the upper 80′s-lower 90′s lately so the heat might be a part of it. The spinach is still bolting so I’m not sure why it never really grew well this year.
